I love nature and sharing it with people. My home country of Tanzania is very special place because we have the highest mountain in Africa, My Kilimanjaro at 19k with many different plants and animals living there. Also in Tanzania, Ngorongoro is where the Massai people live closely with their own domesticated animals and side by side with wild animals like giraffes, rhinos, elephants, lions, and more.

Lucas Gilbert’s Experience

In my 10 years of experience in guiding on Kilimanjaro and in the Serengeti, I have grown as a leader of trips. I began as a porter when I was 25, moved on to being a sheriff for Kilimanjaro National Park, and then attended guide school so I could better share my joy in nature with others. I work independently as well as with The Roof of Africa Adventures and other companies. I am available for taking on new work. See my contact information below and get in touch.
